Unsurprisingly, I began to gain weight, which I didn’t notice until several weeks had passed. Upon glancing in the mirror, I decided to try intermittent fasting. However, breaking old habits proved challenging due to the neural pathways they create in our brains.

I persisted with my existing lifestyle until I stumbled upon the concept of eating one meal a day (OMAD). This seemed much more manageable. The approach was straightforward:

  • In the morning, I could consume milk and fruits.
  • I would have one substantial homemade meal daily.
  • In the evening, a few liquids would suffice.
