I revamped my strategy, committing to four articles weekly, which led to a remarkable increase in my views and recognition for my work. It became evident that success on Medium is not solely about writing; it’s about consistently delivering valuable content.

Crafting Compelling Headlines

The importance of an engaging headline cannot be overstated. It serves as the first point of contact with potential readers, significantly influencing whether they click on your article. I aim for straightforward titles that are clear and catchy, often incorporating numbers to add intrigue. Some successful headlines of mine include:

Focusing on my article “9 Best Side Hustles You Can Start Earning With in 2023,” which has amassed 32K views, I explored a variety of side hustles, providing brief yet informative insights—from Print-On-Demand (POD) to dropshipping, and even how to start a broadly appealing YouTube channel.

Overcoming Obstacles

Every journey has its challenges. There are moments when it feels like your efforts aren’t being recognized. Despite writing around 70 articles, only 1 to 3 have gone viral so far. Additionally, despite the views, my earnings on Medium remain at zero, primarily due to my location in India and my current non-participation in the partner program. The launch of the Medium Partner Program, initially slated for August 1st, has been delayed and is now expected in early 2024. However, I remain hopeful and persistent, believing that patience often rewards dedication.
