Exploring Time Travel Through Meditation: My Journey Begins
Written on
Chapter 1: An Unconventional Quest
For the next month, I will dive into the intriguing world of time travel! While this may seem outlandish at first, I invite you to hear my thoughts.
I've often wondered why others can vividly recall their childhood and distant memories, while I struggle to remember anything beyond the last decade. My goal is to retrieve those lost memories.
How Will I Achieve This?
Through Time Travel!
I recently discovered a CIA program that discusses:
CIA Unveils the Reality of Time Travel
CIA Files Exposed — The Gateway Experience
This program outlines a form of meditation aimed at recovering forgotten memories. They even suggest that time travel and mind-reading are possible! I genuinely believe in the potential to enhance memory and retrieve lost experiences.
But how far back can we truly remember? Can you access memories from preschool? What about your birth? Could we even recall experiences from before we were born? Given that we carry our ancestors' DNA, it seems plausible that their stories could be within reach. However, the question remains: Is it feasible to recover memories from the future? I'm skeptical, but I’m open to possibilities!
Day 1: Setting the Stage
Today marks the start of my meditation journey. I want to clarify my intentions by gathering some materials:
- Pen and Paper: To jot down distractions and issues.
- Pink and Brown Noise: For an added boost.
- Stones: I’ve selected a few crystals from my collection, though I’m uncertain of their names.
- Incense: I rediscovered some incense that I had forgotten about.
Meditation Process
- Breathing: Take six deep breaths, starting from your head and moving down to your toes.
- Distractions: Write down any distractions or challenges you’re facing.
- Affirmations: Recite affirmations out loud, inspired by the first affirmation from the CIA narrative.
- Going Down: Visualize yourself gently sinking into the ground until you reach your limit.
- Coming Up: Slowly count to ten, allowing yourself to resurface.
Results
Today’s session was challenging; my thoughts were racing incessantly. What did I learn? The significant amount of mental space that distractions occupy and my desire to live more intentionally.
This reflection was sparked by a post I encountered:
7 Reasons I’m Slowing Down — A New Chapter in My Writing Journey
Written by Midnight Young, it motivated me to embrace a more intentional approach to my writing on Medium.
Finally, I invite you to ponder: Where do you stand on this scale?
- It’s not possible to recover memories.
- It is possible to recover memories.
- It is possible to recover your earliest memories.
- It is possible to recover memories from before your birth.
- It is possible to recover memories after your death.
Thank you for joining me on this exploration!
